Andrey Tkachenko is an artist based in Nizhny, Russia. His works depict folklore and fantasy living alongside Soviet technology. He often shows robots, combat matryoshkas, mermaids, Baba Yagas, and Soviet race cars as a part of every day life. Dunk Ian McQue’s industrial every day stills into a Russian alternate history with Mad Magazine’s irreverence, and that might approximate Tkachenko’s style.
